“Baghdad Summit” … calls to stop the fire in Gaza and refused to move the Palestinians

The Arabic summit of the thirty quarters began at the level of leadership in Baghdad today, Saturday, to discuss a series of regional issues, on top of which is the situation in the Gaza strip.
“Baghdad’s summit is held in extremely complex circumstances and series challenges that threaten our region, the safety of our country and the fate of our peoples,” said Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid in the opening speech of the summit in which the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guuteres, participated.
He added: “The supreme goal of our contract at the top today, and after a long period of an emergency summit in Cairo, is to unify our positions towards the growing challenges, due to our belief in the importance of joint work and in a way that leads to the prevalence of supreme national interests.”
This summit comes about two months after an extraordinary summit, hosted by Cairo, during which the Arab countries adopted a plan to reconstruct Gaza without the displacement of their residents.
For his part, the Egyptian President Abdel Fattoh El -Sisi, of Baghdad, invited today the President of the United States Donald Trump to “exercise all the efforts and pressure necessary” for a ceased in the Gaza strip, while Israel announced the intensification of his attack.
Al -Sisi declared in a speech during the Arab summit: “I ask the American (American Donald) Trump as a leader who aims to establish peace, to make all the efforts and the pressure on the ceased in the Gaza strip in preparation for the launch of a serious political process in which he is a mediator and a sponsor”.
Refused to “move”
In turn, the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, today announced his refusal to constantly move the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip.
“The region and the whole world face great challenges, starting from Gaza, and nothing justifies the collective torment of the Palestinian people and reject the continuous shift of the residents of the Gaza Strip.”
Spanish commitment to “peace”
Today, Spanish Prime Minister Bidor Sanchez immediately asked for the end of the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
The Iraqi press agency (Consciuio) cited Sanchez, in its speech during the opening session of the Arabic summit.
The Sudanese for economic prosperity in Iraq, noting that “Palestine is bleeding before our eyes and what is happening in Gaza, the party cannot be discovered.”
He added: “There are extraordinary and unacceptable numbers that violate the principle of international humanitarian law and we must stop this cycle of violence”.
Sanchez continued: “We suggest focusing our efforts out of four priorities. The first is to put an end to the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza immediately and double the pressure on employment to stop the massacre in Gaza, going forward with a political solution towards peace, as well as strengthening the European, Arab and Islamic dialogue to solve the problems of the region.”
He also stressed that “Spain is engaged in everything that can go alone”.
“An Arab plan to end the war”
In his speech at the summit, the president of the Palestinian authority Mahmoud Abbas invited the regional and international countries and organizations present to “adopt an Arab plan to end the war and reach peace, including the permanent equipment of the fire, the release of all hostages and prisoners, guaranteeing the flow of humanitarian aid and the full retreat of Israeli employment from the Gazza Striscou.
He also urged “the launch of a political process that begins and ends in a specific period of time to implement the two -states solution and embody the Palestinian state on the earth of the state of Palestine and international recognition based on the decisions of international legitimacy and the Arab Peace initiative”.
Abbas stressed that the Palestinian authority continues to reform its institutions, saying: “We renew our desire to keep presidential and legislative elections during the following year”.
He praised Egypt’s efforts to support the Palestinians politically and humanly, asking for an international conference in Cairo to “finance and implement the reconstruction plan in the Gaza Strip”.
