The Dandakhora police station, in the Katihar district, of the Bihar, was attacked by an agitated crowd. Five police officers were injured in this attack. The injured police were taken to the nearest government hospital, where their condition would be out of danger. Police shot self -defense to disperse the crowd. SP VAIBHAV SHARMA of Katihar said: “The incident took place in the intermediate evening on Friday and Saturday in order to save a person arrested by a group of people from the Dandakhora police station as part of a violation of the prohibition law. The crowd was injured by the police station.”
The SP said the police shot self -defense to disperse the crowd. The crowd could not get rid of the person stopped from the police lock. Five people were arrested as part of this attack. A case was recorded against the accused under the India Code. In 2016, the sale of alcohol at Bihar was prohibited.
