Bin Ghaffir police commanders do not prevent prayer call in mosques

Bin Ghafir praised the chief of the police police, Yair Hazorni, who began to impose high financial fines on mosques.
For its part, the Hamas movement warned serious repercussions to prohibit the call to prayer in the mosques of the interior and stated that this is “a dangerous escalation and provocation of the feelings of Muslims everywhere and part of the violations that do not exclude the mosques and holy sites”.
The movement expressed his refusal of what he described as “a brutal religious war that aims at acts of worship, rituals and holy sites”, noting that international laws and alliances guarantee the protection of holy and historical religious places.
Bin Ghafir’s instructions contradict the document of the principles that signed with the government’s legal consultant, Ghali Bahraf -Mayara, which clearly states that “the instructions are not issued or interfered in any way to make operational decisions and discretionary police authorities, including the issue or setting of the instructions indirectly”.
Police sources have said that some officers expressed concern about the fact that the insistence on the imposition of fines to mosques can lead to an escalation of tension in the Arab cities.
The meeting was absent by the police commissioner, Danny Levy, who is usually excluded uniquely from such sensitive discussions; This reflects a great tension between him and the Minister of National Security.
For his part, Bin Ghafir’s office responded to criticism by stating that the meeting came to follow the question of a member of the Knesset who accused the police of not having applied the law regarding the “noise issued by the mosques” and that the minister is obliged to investigate these hires and to ask the police that he completed the law, within the framework of his responsibilities as a minister.
He stressed that the presence of the delegate of ministerial meetings with the officers is optional.
