A Norwegian “mission” visited the port of Aveiro on a journey organized by the General Management of the European Union policy in the 6’T 6’Tri-Blue program for subsidies.

The EEE subsidy fund is a financial mechanism designated as a financial mechanism of the European Economic Spazio (MFEE) through which Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein support the European Union Member States with greater deviations from the European average of the GDP per capita, which includes Portugal.
The arrival of the Norwegian delegation to find out the port investments was collaborated by the national management unit of subsidies, Norway and Norway innovation.
35 delegated by Portugal and Norway took part in the meeting organized with the intention of “strengthening bilateral relationships” and “promoting a constructive dialogue on issues related to the modernization of the port”.
“During the meeting, essential issues relating to innovation in the maritime sector were addressed, encouraging the exchange of ideas, the sharing of good practices and the identification of new cooperation opportunities between the two countries”, says Porto De Aveiro.
The program also included visits to the Prio Energy and CS Wind PT structures considered “examples of dynamism, innovation and sustainability, highlighting the strategic role of the region in the context of energy and technological transition”.
The organization of the visit “strengthens Porto De Aveiro’s commitment to increase strategic partnerships and contribute to the sustainable development of the blue economy, promoting innovation and international cooperation as essential pillars for a more sustainable future”, concludes the declaration.
