The municipal executive has decided to approve the updating of the resident processes of the social construction of the Municipality of Aveiro, as part of the leases sustained, which provides for the revaluation of income conditions by the owner, every three years.

The approved process now includes three main updates:

In total, 392 rents will be updated, taking into account the current socio -economic situation of the aggregates of the CMA family.
As for the average monthly income of the CMA tenants (made by all tenants) we have a 30% growth from 2022 to 2025 (almost € 300).
This measure, which applies every 3 years, aims to guarantee greater equity and adequacy between the housing conditions and the economic reality of citizens, in accordance with the legislation and the municipal regulation in force.
