The Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology, through the Regional Directorate of Education, is organizing a seminar of autism: from knowledge to work, which will be held on April 29, at 9:15 am, in the John Dos Basos Cultural Center hall, in Punta de Sol.
This symposium contains a group of activities developed by the Specialized Educational Resources Center (CRIE) RibEira Brava/Ponta Do Sol, Calheta, SãO Vicente and Porto Moniz, from the aforementioned regional directorate, which is within the awareness of citizens, April 2.
Celebrating the day of autism in the world is an opportunity to think about the progress that has been reached and the challenges that still exist in building a comprehensive society. Despite the legislative progress, such as Decree No. 54/2018 in its current formulation and adaptation to the region with the regional legislative decree 11/2020/m, and educational initiatives, such as the Learning and Support Center (CAA), there is still a way to go to the inclusion of an effective truth.
In this path, this event, which participates in the professional of random access memory from various fields, aims to educate the residents of schools and society in general, to annoy the autism spectrum (PEA), and to enhance the understanding of people who suffer from this disorder, reinforcement, accept and insert them.
The opening course will attend the regional director of education, Marco Gomez, and the Director of Special Education Services, Gonlorfis, among other entities.
