In his first statement after winning the position of engineers captain, Eng. Abdullah Ghosha expressed his gratitude for the trust granted by the general authority, stressing that this victory is not a victory for a specific electoral list, but rather represents a success for the Union as a whole; Be a university umbrella for various union currents.
Ghosha expressed his appreciation to all those who participated in the electoral process, whether they voted for him or others, committing to work according to the electoral program he presented.
The new engineering union highlighted the importance of developing the profession and improving the role of young people in IT, as well as focusing on training programs and sustainability of union funds.
Ghosha stressed its commitment to implement the directives of the general authority, stressing that the union should keep up with the rate of rapid technical and technological transformations observed by the world, thanks to the launch of modern training programs targeting general engineers, and young people in particular, in a way that contributes to their qualification for the labor market and to support leadership projects that follow the world rhythm.
He pointed out that the next step requires modifying the legislation regulating the work of the union, in accordance with modern variables, explaining that the union includes more than 200,000 members, which constitutes a major challenge to meet their needs and optimally represent them.
In his speech, Ghosha stressed that the union will remain present in national questions, the largest of which is the support of the Palestinian people in the face of the Israeli aggression continues on the Gaza Strip, by the continuation of the reconstruction campaigns, whether in Gaza or in other Palestinian regions.
He reaffirmed the support of the supervision of the Hashemite on the sanctities of Jerusalem.
Ghosha continued, saying that the union will continue its development role within the kingdom through community initiatives such as “fazaa” projects to rehabilitate housing in several governors, stressing that the development role of the union is no less important than its professional role.
Ghosha concluded by emphasizing the importance of consolidating the union’s position as a technical advisor in Jordan, by subjecting studies and proposals in vital sectors such as water, energy, transport, traffic and sustainable development, stressing that these files impose on the Union the responsibilities of the Grand in the next step.
