Jewish semiconductor unit:: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Wednesday that India’s progress was taking place in the world of the semiconductor after approval of the Semecond factory by an investment estimated at 3,706 breaks of rupees in the Uttar Pradesh. The Minister of Information and Radiation, Ashwini Vahnav, while informing the media about the firm’s decision, said that his capacity would be to prepare 20,000 Wafers (thin layer of semiconductor silicon) per month and will produce 3.6 million chips per month.
2000 people expected a job
He said that the cabinet had approved the sixth semiconductor factory to install in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. It is a joint venture of manufacturing of display pilots between HCL and Foxconn. These chips control the quality and format of the material displayed on the screen. It is a very advanced technology that is established. Foxconn is the largest manufacturer of electronic products. It also does iPhone Apple.
The Minister of the Union said that the HCL-Foxconn joint venture will be operational in 2027. This factory, which is created with an investment of RS 3,706 crore, should provide a job to 2,000 people.
