Padma Awards 2025:: During a large ceremony held in Rashtrapati Bhavan, President Draupadi Murmu presented the Padma Awards on Tuesday to 71 people who made an extraordinary contribution in various fields such as art, literature, education, public affairs, the doctor, social work, science, sports and industry. In this program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Minister of the Interior Amit Shah, Minister of External Affairs Sk Jaishankar and other dignitaries participated.

139 Padma Prize winners were announced

One of the highest civil honors in India, the Padma Awards are presented in three categories: Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri. This year, the government announced a total of 139 winners of the Padma Prize on the eve of the Republic day. In such a situation, 4 Padma Vibhushan, 10 Padma Bhushan and 57 winners of the Padma Shri Prize were among those who were honored in this second Padma prize.
