Russia kills 13 people in Ukraine in the largest air attack of the initial war | International

Russia has launched the largest air attack against Ukraine since the beginning of the war in February 2022. At least 13 people died, including three children and several dozen have been injured due to the launch of almost 300 explosive drones and 69 missile missiles, however, the rest caused damage and victims in the Kiiv region and in other parts of the country.

The president of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelenski, urged the United States to correct his gaze in Russia, to which the president of the United States, Donald Trump, favors in front of Kyiv. “The silence of the United States and others in the world only serves to be encouraged to (Russian president, Vladimir) Putin,” said Zelenski on Telegram. “Each terrorist attack is a sufficient reason for new penalties against Russia,” he added, at a time when, after a first contact between Moscow and Kyiv a week ago in Istanbul, the United States and Europe plan new penalties to press Putin to accept a high fire to which he resists, given that his troops bring the initiative to the ground. “Without pressure (international), nothing will change and Russia and its allies will continue to increase their strength for these murders in western countries. Moscow certainly fighting as long as it has the ability to produce weapons,” said the head of the Cabinet of Zelenski, Andrii Yermak on the telegram.

The governor of the region surrounding the capital, Mikola Kalashnik, reported on his Telegram channel of the death of three people in the districts of Obujiv and Bucha, while another 10 were injured in other parts of the province. There have been no victims in the capital, although damage.

For his part, the Ukraine state emergency service notified the death of a 77 -year -old person in the Mikolaiv region, in the south of the country, where at least five injured were also counted, including a teenager. Among the wounded, there are two women in serious condition.

In the Jmelnitski (West) region, four people died and five others were injured by reaching Russian bullets more than twenty homes, an educational institution and several cars.

Shortly thereafter, the Ukrainian emergency service reported the death of three minors to Yitomir (8, 12 and 17 years old) in which another dozen people had to be hospitalized. In addition, these attacks forced 210 people to evacuate from their homes and several residential buildings were destroyed.

In Járkov (Nord -est), the second largest city in Ukraine, three other people were injured, according to the mayor, Igor Terejov.

For its part, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that it had intercepted 110 drones launched by Ukraine, 13 of which in the Moscow and Tver region, near the Russian capital. He has not reported damage or victims.

The exchange of fire occurred after one day, that of Saturday, in which both sides continued with the exchange of prisoners agreed during the Turkey meeting on May 16. Saturday 307 prisoners of each part returned to their homes, so there are already 697 exchanged, of the 1,000 agreed in Istanbul.
