The Joint Budget Committee (CMO) was elected this Thursday (10) Senator Ephraim Felho (Union-PB) as Chairman of the Council. In the assumption of the job, Ephraim defended the financial scale and controlling expenses.
He said: “The financial balance is not only done through the aspect of revenues, increased taxes, increasing the rate of lifting, lifting and raising them also on the side of expenses, qualifying public spending, reducing costs, and eliminating waste, and thus seeking to achieve balance without having to deposit the weight of the tax burden.”
After officially assuming the job, EFRAIM was appointed as a relationship with the annual budget law for 2026 (LOA), the MDB-Aal, MDB leader in the House of Representatives.
At the meeting, ISNALDO also defended progress with the debate about the Brazilian state’s efficiency. He said that he would seek to ensure the budget part vote according to regular rituals, without delay until the end of the year. Last year, Loa was not analyzed and approved only in March this year.

Every year, the CMO and Rapporteur presidency takes Commission between the Senate and the Council. This year, Loa and Budgetary Guidelines Law (LDO) will be deputies, while the presidency is with a member of the Senate. For LDO Rapporteur, Carlos ZARTTINI (PT-SP) was nominated.
