Lourosa: suspected of having killed and buried a corpse to steal the victim

The judicial police (PJ) confirmed, this morning, the arrest of a man for murder and desecration of the corpse in Lourosa, the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira.

The inspectors of the Board of Directors of the North stopped, at night, from the flagrant crime, the suspicion of 58 years old.

In addition to the alleged practice of crimes of qualified murders and desecration of the corpse, there are tests of guarantee crime or abuse of cards, devices or payment data.

“On April 24, after communicating to the PJ of the existence of suspicion of crime linked to a disappearance, from April 15, in Lourosa, Santa Maria da Feira, the due diligence were immediately developed that allowed, on that day, to discover the body of the victim, a 55 -year -old man, buried in the ground of the house of suspicion,” recalls a police note.

From the investigation developed by the police, “it was possible to discover that both were old acquaintances, with strong evidence that, with the aim of taking the victim’s goods, the suspicion decided to kill him, presumably for asphyxiation”.

“After committing the crime, the suspicion buried the body, used the victim’s bank card and tried to deceive the relatives of the deceased, providing false clues on his disappearance”, adds the PJ.

The prisoner, who has criminal records for the tax fraud crime, will be present to the judicial authority competent for the first judicial interrogation and the application of coercion measures.

The PJ concludes the declaration reporting that he has counted “with the prestigious collaboration of GNR”.
