Mumbai Metro 7A Update: The upcoming metro line in Mumbai, which will connect Chattabati Chevagi International Airport (T2) to Andheri East – moves quickly. According to a report issued by Lokmat, the Mumbai Metropolitan region (MMRDA), the second tunnel is likely to be completed from the underground metro road by the end of May. This teacher will be an important step for the project. The metro line is a 7A 3.4 km road, which will include two metro plants: a high station in the airport colony and an underground station at Station 2 (T2) of the International Airport. This line will have high sectors and land lines, making it technically complex projects.

Mumbai Metro 7A tunnel is offered
The tunnel with a length of about 1.65 km has already been completed with the help of the boring tunnel machine (TBM). Now only 100 meters of the tunnel are left for the second tunnel. MMRDA officials hope that this last section will be completed by the end of May.
After completing the construction of the tunnel, it will take about a year and a half to finish all other construction work and start its operations. Currently, 59 percent of the Metro 7A project, which was targeted by December 2026, has been completed.
Communication
The 7A metro line will provide direct contact between Mera Bhayandar and Mumbai International Airport (T2). The Metro 9s and metro line 7, which will prepare a road without passengers throughout the city will be connected.
With this integration, the passengers, especially visitors from the airport, will benefit greatly, as this will reduce the time of travel and get a smooth option to transport roads and railways.
