“The theme is crucial for our quality life,” says Alberto Souto, candidate for the house room.
Eduardo Jorge Gonçalves Barata, Metro-Mondego executive administrator Anabela Salgueiro Narciso Ribeiro, Ambassador Alliance Portugal SDG for the “Sustainable Cities and Communities” will take part in the debate as experts, sharing their experiences.
In a press release, the PS of Aveiro recalls that “the municipalities play a key role in promoting sustainable mobility and can through public policies, infrastructure investments and incentives for behavioral change, create a more favorable environment for sustainable transport, improving the quality of life of citizens”.
The “Rosa” advice considers “imperative to find solutions for integrated transport systems that offer safe, convenient and comfortable options; solutions that give priority to public transport, bicycle and walking and reduce dependence on the individual car”.
