Council member Anna Carolina Oliveira (POT), the mother of Isabella Nardoni, was chosen by the members of the Sao Paulo City Council for the Presidency of the Excellence Committee to defend the rights of the child, adolescents and youth.
“Even before entering public life, protection for children, victims and weakness was always the science that I carried on my heart – a task I was born from my story, which many people already know,” I told the council member CNN.

The extraordinary committee consists of five consultants responsible for receiving, evaluating complaints and investigating them in the context of violating the rights of children and adolescents. In addition, they should also monitor and supervise government programs in order to protect these rights.
“As president, commitment of course: enhancing early childhood protection, creating practical measures to clarify facts, and ensuring that the reports received daily have quick and effective answers. I want to achieve decisions, which really affect the lives of our children, unifying authorities, entities, and all responsible bodies to build a more fair and more efficient protection system,” ANA Carolina continues.
She says that this commitment goes beyond the mandate: “I will not stop until every child can grow from fear and violence.
