The National Police of Cádiz arrested a man at JEREZ de la Frontra as an alleged perpetrator of many sexual assaults against at least ten years of this city, and has made the Acts Acts since 1992.

According to the police, the detainee is supposed to use his position as a teacher and his reputation in the musical field to gain the confidence of his victims, whether in facial environments or through digital platforms. In this way, it could have prevailed since the 1990s of their responsibilities for contacting minor children who were supposed to offer sexual assault when they were alone with them.
In its statement, the police added that “these positions were led by the same detainee under the pretext of implementing educational programs, personal classes, coexistence and organized trips.” All this, as he added, with the aim of achieving a “safe” environment with those affected to carry out the attacks.
It is claimed that the detainee committed attacks against minors in the interior of churches, archives and homes. In fact, the investigation found that many of the attacks would have been carried out inside the Gerez de la Frontra Cathedral, and the police may separate.
One of the parents denounced
The investigation began by the national police agents specialized in protecting the palace at the Geerez Police Station after the communication and condemnation of one of the injured children.
Investigators have been able to identify ten other victims: five men are already adults who have been victims from 1992 to 2000, three current current sexual assault victims and other sexual victims of sexual internet. In addition, two potential victims are investigated.
The agents have entered and registered in their home with a judicial license and cooperation between the Gyriz Technological Crime Group, which interferes with many stations remotely, in addition to various types of storage devices that must be analyzed by national police specialists.
The investigation, which was directed by the President of the Education Court No. 3, remains open and does not rule out that more victims may appear during the next few days. Thus, from the judiciary and the national police, it affects other potential victims to formulate a complaint.
As detailed, the detainee practiced or functional exercises and jobs as a member of the Gerez Cathedral or Professor of Professional Music Institute for Joaquín Villalatoro De Jerez, among other positions, in addition to being a customary and cooperative guest in many international courses.
The head of the Geerez Instructions Court No. 3 late on Friday, April 11, 2025, issued a temporary prison imprisonment until the celebration of an oral trial.
The diocese condemns the facts
In a statement, Geerez’s bishop “categorically” condemned all kinds of ill -treatment against minors and weak people “in any field of society” and stressed that in the Child Protection Office from this diocese “no complaint has been received in this regard.”
According to the diocese of Esidonia Geerez, the cathedral “has no one in recent decades with musical groups of the palace led by any player.”
In this sense, they pointed out that the news was received “with a surprise and deep sadness”, and that “without weakness in the assumption of innocence”, the bishop is provided to the judicial authorities for cooperation “in everything necessary.”
