This procedure, which is part of the regional road plan 2022-2023, was an investment of more than 610,000 euros and was implemented at a length of 3.6 km. The business included the expansion and enhancement of the company, the improvement of the intersection with DSA-130, the bridge repair, the installation of sewage systems, banners and new safety barriers. All this with the aim of increasing road safety and improving the comfort of the users of this path.

The works began in June 2024 and delayed about a year, when they were planned to end last October, which accumulates late for about six months.

During the visit, Javier Iglesias stressed that “this is not an isolated action, but it is part of a fixed commitment and firmness from Diputación to improve the regional road network, regardless of the size of the municipalities.” In this sense, he recalled that the new regional road plan 2025-2026 has already been approved, which will be the “largest in history” with an investment of 31.4 million euros, which will reach 35 million projects. Thanks to this plan, 131 km of roads will be renewed in 21 parts.



In addition, he emphasized the Foundation’s commitment to all municipalities through other initiatives such as the municipal road plan, which has been granted 15 million euros so that the municipalities can work in its own roads, and the new road preservation plan 2025-2029, which will have a historical investment of 28 million euros in four years, which represents more than 10 million of the plan.

“Improving roads does not give more security and facilitates services. Rather, it also helps to stay in villages, to reach new opportunities. From Diputación, we believe a firm belief in the rural world. We invest here to call, protect and give the future. “

Excellent investment in the region

The Galisancho region and its surroundings are subject to a large road infrastructure investment in recent years, because in the plans of 2022-2023, the procedures have been implemented at a value of more than 1.5 million euros, including: among them:

-Carra Morel (Obour Final): 530,000 euros

Access to Santa Terisa: 515,000 euros

Beni from Salvatira to Guegueleo: 480,000 euros

In the current road plan 2025-2026, it is planned to invest 3.4 million euros:

-Pedraza-aalaz: 1.4 million euros

-De La Sierra (beginning of transit): 1.2 million euros

Brown from Salvatira to Guegueleo (stage 2): 850,000 euros

With these investments, Diputación again re -adheres to regional vertebrae and improving the quality of life in the Salanca rural environment.
