In the context of the 510 anniversary of the AD, Santa Teresa de Jesus, this morning officially presented himself in Basilica with Mrs. Carmen – the tomb of the saint, the scientific reconstruction of his face. The verb, which occurred at 9:00 at the same time in Alba De Tormes, Rome and Australia.

This work was directed by Professor Ruggero d’Stasio, from Gabriel de Anounzio de Citty – University of Pescara (Italy), and was executed by Professor Jennifer Man, a specialist at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine at Monash University, Australia.
Using advanced forensic techniques based on human measures, radiographs, historical certificates, and descriptions at that time, Jennifer Man was able to strictly sculpt the face of Teresa de Jesus, which she represents with about 50 years, at the main age of her spiritual and contemplative life.
Rebuilding Santa Teresa
Santa Teresa sculpting about 50 years ago, coinciding with the early years of his reform life, when he lived in the San Jose de Avila Monastery.
Reconstruction shows a calm and complete face, with an independent expression, a specific cheekbone and a clear interface. Eyes, almonds a little, have a depth that reflects its meditative character. The thick and curved eyebrows, and the balanced arrangement of the face in the third, coincides with the detailed description presented by Mother Maria de San Jose, who lived with the saint. The three distinctive moles that they had on the face were also combined.

The face has a solid bone structure, a well -straight and specific nose, a fixed lips and a round chin that brings sweetness and design. Plasma sculpture with the compound sincere sincerity, which enhances the relationship between forensic data and historical certificates.
