The fourteen Salamanca Street, which will be in work due to the renovation of the pipelines

The Salmanca City Council continues to renew the water distribution network in the city’s neighborhoods to prevent the fracture of pipes and improve the quality of service provided to citizens. While renewal works are carried out in Chamber and La Vega, and they are already in 3.6 km tender renewal projects in 25 streets of blackboard, white, vidal, prosperity, roll and chinhibarra, the bids with an area of ​​2,734 meters of tubes in 14 streets of six life began.

Specifically, these are Pizarral, White, Chamberí, Garido and Station and Center neighborhoods with a budget for a display base of 999,937 euros. In this way, the renovation of the tubes already at risk during the current mandate exceeds 15.6 km in 74 streets with a total investment of 4.8 million euros. This strong investment of the Salama City Council adds to the one that was implemented during the previous state, when about 21.5 km of tubes were renewed in 106 streets of the city with a total investment exceeding 8.7 million euros.

the Water supply network renewal Since the implementation of the active pressure management system (GAP) in 2017, it led to a net more than 17.5 million cubic meters of water, which is equivalent to the supply of the entire city of Salamanca for a year.

Thanks to this smart system, which regulates pressure on the network when there is less demand for water and improves this pressure according to the demand, the production age of the pipes increases in sixteen years. Therefore, these improvements not only allowed the replacement of the current pipes, the provision of water, and the improvement of service to neighbors, but also avoid discomfort as a result of network breaks. In 2024, the breaks were reduced by 17.4 % compared to the previous year, and 56.1 % compared to 2017, where the gap was launched.

Projects that will appear, one by one

The first three projects presented, with a budget budget of 263,507.30 euros and a two -month implementation period, will allow the renovation of 721 meters along the tubes in the streets of La Flore, Al -Bazu, Al -Alalia Bishop, Rio Cell, and Rayz Zurela in the Birrarl neighborhood. This stage is already approved with the 2025 budgets in the streets, sailors and Professor Lucas.

The second project, with a budget of 369,310.09 euros, and a three -month death period, will reach 1016 meters in the streets of San Matthias, Santa Rosa de Lima, San Ernesto, and Titu de Buwainavsta Yun in the streets of Gillz -Devilla. The last link with the renewal of Bernardo Dorado and Count Vallaino was executed during the previous mandate.

Finally, the third project, with a budget of 367,119.24 euros, and a four -month death period, will renew 997 meters from Bozo Amarello Street and the station station, between Colonel Antonio Heer Jill and Rio and Mino, while giving continuity in the work carried out in 2023 from Allelillella Park.

Business will also be regenerating 191 home connections, installation of 68 fooms for irrigation and 22 anti -tap, as well as suction cups, clean wells and drainage when necessary.
