The last remains of one of the most dangerous boycott steps in history will decrease with the dismantling of the latest facilities that have remained, and the tangle, which will leave the passage of roads through GomeCello as if there was no before.
The contract of more than 300,000 euros will allow the admissible adjustment of the old Gomecello level, which is the basic railway equipment for trading trading. The contract is intended to adjust the Gomecello tangle due to the suppression of the flat steps in a cubic kilometer of font 120, VILAR Formoso – Medina Del Campo as it passes through the city.
These two steps were suppressed from the most dangerous level in the province, and they were replaced by two lower steps due to the electrification of the line between Medina and Salamanka and the passage of high -performance alphala trains. To adapt these steps to their new circumstances, it was necessary to implement the work in order to adapt these sites.
The works, which lasted for more than two years, ended in July 2022 after an investment of 5,748,286.28 euros (VAT) to take a lower and variable step. Now, what is done is the removal of the interlocking command system, from the old step.
In 2023, ADIF signed a framework agreement for an investment of 9.3 million euros, and against this contract, expenses are offered to amend the results of Gomecello.
