The mayor of Salama in Plaza is the municipal book fair from 10 to 18 May. This Monday, work began at Agora Salmanitno to prepare the space in which they will participate Five librariesTwelve publishers and four instructions. Currently, they prepare the cabin structure even though the next few days will be formed until the opening of Saturday. It will be at 12:00 am when the Munciipal Music Band and a conference around the writer Carmen Martin Gate, the exhibition.
A meeting point will be presented to the city’s reading lovers, where books will be presented from some distinguished Spanish literature, such as Belar Adon, Jesz Ruiz Mantella, Luis Garcia Gambarina or Maria Safs. In addition, there will be presentations for the book during all days of Fair, with authors, among others, such as Beatriz, their arrival with the “Wolf Gospel” and Rebecca Hernandez with “Mother”.
Of course, many authors and authors, throughout the exhibition, will sign the company’s booth installed in the Plaza Dean. The working hours will be from Monday to Thursday, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. From 5:30 pm until 9:30 pm, Friday and Saturday, from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm and from 5:30 pm until 10:00 pm and Sunday, from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm and from 5:30 pm until 9:30 pm
Young people will also have a pleasant space around reading. This year, they can enjoy the show: “The Never Ending Tale”, by Unpuntocurioso, to celebrate the centenary of the Carmen Martin Gate. Through the Carmiña character and play with the words that have been invented, a tour of his trips to New York with Little Red Riding Hood will be taken. This proposal will be held from 12 to 16 May, in the morning.
More activities in the exhibition
Plaza mayor will also host concerts by local artists such as others Victoria, Orka, Aaron Salazar and international, such as the collection of Javier Alcantara’s short stories or Gaten Rome. For its part, the municipal band in Salamanca and groups from the Salamanca and Superior Conservatory School, present in different days of the exhibition.
There will also be, like other years, an extension of the International Doll Festival in Segovia, which will work on the stage of the Plaza Mayor of the public of all ages.
On Sunday 18, the day designated for enlightenment will be given the artist Esther Garcia, the author of the exhibition poster, two workshops for the young, and in the afternoon, it will take place recently for all of these people interested in clarifying the books of children and youth.
