The new hydroelectric factory in Salamanca has already started its work, and thus, it is known that there are more details about this wonderful engineering work that has a 36 -month implementation period. This old desire for the government in Salamanca district can be achieved after several attempts to even with important economic injection, and it was finally separated on March 11 with the signing of the contracts.
March 24th The starting law was signed for business On the part of the Institute of Diversification and Energy Providing (IDAE) and UTE, a work in which the hydrographic union and the business union formed by conservation, asphalt and construction S. A; Cuerva Energía S.lu Y Conntrucciones Y Works Valbuena SAU and Works Directorate.
Cueva, a reference company in the energy sector, was founded in 1939 in Granada for more than 85 years of history and path, winner of the IRueña Energy Energy Station, which is located in the province of Salamanca, specifically to achieve the electrical garden. The future hydroelectric factory, which has a budget of 7 million euros and 36 months of implementation, will have a proven power of about 4,500 kW, and generates annual production estimated at 16,300 megawatts of clean energy.
It is translated into more clear numbers that the production of 16,300 megawatts per year is equivalent to nearly 5,000 homes annually, a great work that generates directly and indirectly in the Salamanca region.
The company will be responsible for implementing the electrical package for the project, including control systems, supply and installation of electromechanical equipment, evacuating the generated energy and implementing the installation. Likewise, the development engineering needed for the correct technical definition will be developed for work, as well as the development of integrated technical documents, to ensure the operation and track and maintenance of the factory in the long run.
This company participated in Granada in many photovoltaic projects: In 1962, the PV power plant was launched at Bermejales, and the power station has acquired Alpujarreña; In 1992, he launched the hydroelectric power station at La Vega; In 1995, he was the beginning of Arquillos Center in Jaén and Cubilas in Granada; In 2014, he contacted the Pfoty Factory in Saint Lorenzo to the Panama system, in 2015, began the development of water bulletins in Peru; In 2016, Alba de Durmins Garden launched winds, among many other national and international works.
With the presence of in Europe and Latin America, and a team of more than 200 professionals, Cuerva has seen tremendous growth in recent years, strengthening itself as a strategic partner in energy transmission in organizations.
Central and its project
The central center is located in the IRueña Dam, on the águida – Feluente del Duero for its left flood – in the municipal conditions of El Bodón and El Sahugo (salamanca). This infrastructure, which is associated with the CHD heritage, includes an electrocardiogram created in the dam’s body, which has been provided since its origin for the future composition of a center at the foot of the prey.
The works began in 1997 and ended in 2003. The main tip of the tank is to regulate the águida river and thus avoid the floods that have suffered from Ciudad Rodrigo. The Irueña Dam takes its name from the old Castro Celtic, which was very romantic, which apparently lived until the end of the Middle Ages. Castro, who is at the meeting of the águeda river with a roll stream, said 30 meters above the tank water.
This project, which was included in the hydrological plan for Duero, will decisively contribute to the carbon removal targets set by the government of Spain, which meditates in reaching a 100 % renewable and neutral energy system in emissions before 2050.
