The Salamanca City Council continues to renew the water supply network in the city’s neighborhoods to prevent the fracture of the pipelines and improve the quality of service provided to citizens. In this way, the renovation of the tubes already at risk during the current period exceeds 15.6 km in 74 streets, with a total investment of about 4.8 million euros. This strong investment of the Salama City Council adds to the one that was implemented during the previous state, when about 21.5 km of tubes were renewed in 106 streets of the city with a total investment exceeding 8.7 million euros.
Between the neighborhoods of Pizarral and Blanco, 940 meters of porchy and sailors and Professor Lucas will be renewed with a budget of 4444491.95 euros (348,940.72 euros, and 78.5 % contributed by JUNTA De Castilla Y León).
