Four large companies have signed the period of intention and cooperation for the Pará Sustainable Liven Program. The agreement was agreed last Thursday (24), and the partnership between the private initiative and the Barra government that distinguishes procedures to enhance responsible production in the state and combat illegal forest removal.
Carrefour Brasil Group, the largest food retail store in Brazil, JBS, one of the largest food companies in the world, and Rio Maria and Marinort animals for the official thirties and became the first companies to adhere to the program. The goal is, by 2026, the implementation of the individual tracking of the cattle herd in the entire bar – from birth to slaughter.
Companies are committed to encouraging the production of illegal forests and free of forest removal cases, supporting the transformation of vertebral livestock, generating jobs, field income and job opportunities, as well as efforts to inform consumers of the followers of followers, evaluate their sustainable origin and create opportunities to promote livestock as a reference in responsible practices.

The Carrefour Brasil collection will be the only Brazilian retail that joins the initiative, and will have its stores in the state as the first to market products with the program’s certificate, from the second half of this year.
