The famous Bangladesh actress Nusrat Faria was arrested at Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka. She played the former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as a girl in the Bangladesh Bangladesh Biopic film, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, “Muzib: The Making of A Nation”. His name appeared in a case linked to an attempted murder, which would have been recorded during the mass movement against Hasina in July of last year.

31 years – Nusrat Faria was arrested at the immigration control point before leaving for Thailand this morning. According to local media, an arrest warrant was issued against him due to a complaint of attempted murder. It is alleged in this case that the Prime Minister of the time, Hasina, had to resign because of the violence during the demonstration and had to flee India.

After the arrest, Nusrat is kept in Dacca!

The deputy commissioner of the Budda Zone police, Shafikul Islam, confirmed that Nusrat had been arrested. After the arrest, he was first taken to the water police station in Dacca, from where he was taken to the detective branch (DB) of the Dacca metropolitan police.

Shyam Benegal made the Mujib biopic

Nusrat Faria played the role of Sheikh Hasina in the 2023 film “Muzib: The Making of A Nation”. The film was directed by former director Shyam Benegal.
