A source from the Professional Football League explained, in a press release from “Hasport”, that the status of Wydad in sixth place (220 million centimeters) instead of fifth place (250), in the disposition of the status of the championship for the last season, which was mentioned in the financial report, during the regular general assembly of the football system, last Thursday, repelled at the period.

The same source said that the professional league offered its apologies to the Wydad sports team after the “involuntary” typographic error in the club ranking, as well as club subsidies, in the last financial report.

With regard to the abolition of the title of the 2002 African Winners Cup of the Wydad Sports Vaches record of one of the models presented at the General Assembly of the League, the source of the newspaper explained that the design aimed to present the most important club titles and did not include all the achievements.

The same source stressed that the title was not deliberately deleted, but was rather a diligence of those who were responsible for design which sought to give an aesthetic radiance to the literary relationship by including an overview of the most important titles, adding: “The title of the Asian AFC Cup was not included in the list of Wydad and Raja titles”.

On the other hand, a source from Wydad Sports Club declared, in an interview with “Hasport”, that the club has already received immediate apology from the league concerning the arrangement error, and has also received clarifications on the question of not including certain titles, adding: “The history of the club and its achievements cannot erase or ignore it.”

These errors had made Wydad fans angry, who considered what happened as a provocation and targeting of the team, asking the League to investigate the accuracy of the preparation of its reports and submission in a way that respects the history and achievements of all clubs without discrimination.
