Few people remember that, about a year ago, the left was the majority in Parliament. Since then, about 700,000 votes have immigrated from left to right and this phenomenon should be the main point for the reflection of the people of the left. Roy Tavaris said that the left had been kept in the defense, and therefore, let ride the right and the extreme right. I agree.
Using a soccer metaphor, we can say that there is no team playing only for defense that can win games. The opponent, either by the genius in “Salbah” for some players, or for some of the referee, can easily win. Now we know that the ruling is not always neutral. There is only one solution: creating a strong team with reinforcements from different aspects, and forming an offensive team that score goals. This is the only way for the left left again – to move from the defense of human rights and the values of democracy and start attacking the opponent, with bold proposals and a good school that solves major national problems. Health, housing, and improving salaries and environmental values should be the new equipment for the new left team in the elections.
