Eleven houses that have been rehabilitated for rent in Seydad Rodrigo have already tenants

Junta de Castilla Y León, through the General Infrastructure and Environment Association (SOMACYL), has rehabilitated 11 homes from one family for the General Housing Park for Rest in the city of Salama in Sewad Rodrigo. Today, the keys to new tenants have been delivered in an important progress in society.

Located on the Salamanca Road, 174 of Ciudad Rodrigo, it was rehabilitated with an investment of 1.6 million euros funded by the React-Eu Fund. With useful surfaces ranging between 92 and 94 square meters, they are distributed on two floors (low and first) and include the shores of the room, four bedrooms, toilet, bathroom, balconies, brochures, and inner squares. In addition, they supplied kitchens and equipped with equipped devices, bathrooms and built tanks.

The rehabilitation project has improved thermal, sound and vibrant conditions in these homes significantly, and adapted to the technical construction code. The external thermal insulation system (SAT) was implemented, the cover and the domination were renewed, and the heating system has been installed by the community boilers of the biomass. In addition, the generation of solar photovoltaic energy has been combined to reduce the costs of electric consumption. Thanks to these improvements, they got the energy classification A.

These rehabilitated homes will become part of the SOMACYL public rental park, with priority for young people under the age of 36, in line with the Junta de Castilla Y León strategy to enhance access to this group.
